The Winter Season kicked off today in perfect sunny conditions with the opening run being the Jells Park Cross Country Relays. Due to a new playground being constructed this was new course with the long hill going but more repeat hills being added.  This is a pretty tough course as a lot of it is on very soft grass.

Ben Reid had a PB on his opening leg in the Open Men 6k and Mitch Graham was close to his PB from 2019.  No CC racing last year due to Covid.

Two new junior members made their debut for the Club today with Tom Linnett leading out the U14 mens team in the very smart time of 11.49.  The U14s run one lap of 3km.  Erin Marriner was our other new member and ran 11.59 for her 3k lap.  A big thankyou to Chloe Linnett who helped the U14 team to a finish by filling in that empty spot, Chloe at 10, going on 11 ran 13.29.
