The final event of the year is the Tan relays held on the iconic "Tan Track" around the Botanical Gardens.  The conditions were almost ideal except for the wind around the back end of the course.

The mens team was led out by Tom Fawthorpe who posted the fifth fastest time of the day with 11.14.  Craig Mottram was the only runner under 11.00 minutes with a time of 10m40s.  The next group were 11.07 to 11.12.  Shannon McDade improved on her last years run leading out the Womens team who finished 8th.

What was great to see was an Under 14 team from the Ringwood LA's that we helped to arrange a run for.  Thanks to the AV team and Tim Crosbie for making this possible.  The girls had a great time and came second, a win was on the cards except for a fall caused by an athlete running into one of the girls on the last leg which lost the team the eqaul lead.
