Ringwood Athletic Club

The relays are held on the road racing circuit at Sandown and would be the best club road relays event in the country.  It is certainly a well supported event with a lot of high quality athletes using it to gauge how they stack up against some of our best ever distance athletes.

Each athlete runs 2 laps of the road circuit (3.1k) for a total of 6.2km.  The weather started out fine and progressively got worse and wetter.

Our senior mens team was led out by Tom Fawthorpe who ran a PB of 18:56.  The team never looked back and recorded a comfortable win, although it is only Division 4 it was still nice to win one.  Tom's time was the 13th. fastest of the day for all teams.
